FES Subsea has built up a reputation for satisfying clients with a number of hot stab and receptacle products - providing high quality and cost effective design, manufacture and short lead times.
FES Subsea hot stab and receptacles, standard API 17D/ISO 13628-8 (17H) designs, and unique hydraulically operated hot stabs are used by operators and EPC contractors around the world. Uses include subsea pigging, suction piles, buoyancy modules, chemical and gas injection, flooding and venting operations, and as part of specialist ROV tools services.
With a wide range of hot stab and receptacle designs available, FES Subsea can provide equipment to meet any and all project requirements. This is achieved via a modular configuration, allowing for greater design flexibility, a design methodology working in accordance with industry standards and qualifications, and a wide ranging on-site stock system, allowing for quick turnaround where required.
FES Subsea hot stabs range from 1” to 8” diameter, with design pressures of 6,000PSI, 10,000PSI and 15,000PSI available. Designed in accordance with industry standards including API17D, API 6A, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, ISO13628-4, ISO 10423, PD5500, and PED, the FES Subsea hot stab and receptacles are third party certified to API 6A / ISO 10423 PR2 Annex F & API 17D / ISO 13628-4 Annex L.
A modular design, with part machined stock and completed modular items held on site at FES, allows FES Subsea to provide a range of 1” to 4” stabs and receptacles if required quickly, with assembly, testing, packing and dispatch carried out on site to minimise project duration.
Alongside these designs, FES Subsea provides hot stab and receptacles in accordance with API 17D (single, dual and quad port options) and ISO 13628-8 (single and dual port) – formerly API 17H, and can supply products that conform to the PETROBRAS dual port hot stab profile.
For large bore diameters above 4”, FES Subsea also provides a unique hydraulically operated hot stab, eliminating need for ROV/diver to provide the insertion & retraction forces.
