FES International set to continue growing with launch into China

30th April 2016

As the North Sea oil and gas fields head towards the end of their production lives, global oil and gas firm, FES International, is set to enter the Chinese market within the New Year.

Having recently trebled their turnover in the last four years from £5m to £15m, the Ashington-based engineering firm forecasts a turnover in excess of £16m by 2016, despite the falling oil prices and current challenging market environment.

Placing technical innovation and customer service at the heart of the business, the company attributes its continued success to its ability to adapt and innovate.

FES Managing Director, Rob Anderson, says: “It is common knowledge that market conditions are tough, so we are really proud to be entering our 18th year having just had our best year ever and with a strong order book despite what is happening around us. That said, we can’t be complacent and intend to continue growing by entering new markets aggressively. We already have a very strong, prospective order book in China which we anticipate will convert to some large contracts in the New Year.

“Having strengthened the team in the last 12 months we are able to continue meeting client demands such as delivering products inside tight timeframes and ensuring all new orders can be serviced. This puts us in good shape for entering the Chinese market which has a lot of potential; it is a very exciting time.”
